Woodland Financial Partners:
A New Name and an Expanded Focus
Woodland Financial Partners (WFP), formerly known as NiiJii Capital Partners, is pleased to announce its new name and expanded focus to serve Native American entrepreneurs who are enrolled Members of Wisconsin’s 11 federally recognized Tribes.
“Serving our Wisconsin Tribal communities is important and central to our mission. We wanted our name to reflect our inclusivity and showcase who we are, as we have evolved since our inception. We honor and respect our roots, and our team is excited with our evolution and will continue our mission of supporting Tribal entrepreneurs statewide,” said Pamela Boivin, Executive Director.
WFP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, chartered by the state of Wisconsin, and a U.S. Treasury Department certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Financing services include business loans, and development services include technical assistance and training.
“Our name change comes at an opportune time. We recently welcomed four new employees who are serving in diverse capacities within our organization, increasing our efficiency and providing a variety of resources to our clients,” said Kaycee Frechette, Director of Operations.
“Woodland Financial Partners will always strive to provide the best service to our clients. Our new name is more inclusive and fits with our goal to serve more Tribal communities in Wisconsin.”
